Project: Moore and Giles Meadow

We created a three-acre meadow by first removing invasive turf grasses that dominated the site and limited ecological value. Once cleared, we seeded the area with a carefully selected mix of native species adapted to xeric conditionsβ€”plants that thrive in dry, low-fertility soils.

Now, this meadow not only supports pollinators and wildlife but also establishes a resilient plant community that requires minimal maintenance, conserves water, and naturally suppresses invasive plants over time. The result is a thriving meadow that reflects the natural character of the landscape while restoring biodiversity and beauty to the site.
